The Appalachian Early Childhood Network is THE advocate for early childhood care and education in Appalachia.
State Advocacy
AECN participates in all state level advocacy events, including Children’s Advocacy Day in Frankfort. During the 2021 Legislative Session, we worked with our partners to advocate for important legislation regarding child care.

Community Advocacy
AECN has deep roots in Appalachia. Expect to see us in your community, participating in activities that support our families, children, and providers. We are also active on local Chambers of Commerce and community leadership teams.
Family Advocacy
AECN believes families deserve high-quality, affordable child care. We provide resources for those looking for care, and we advocate for increased CCAP eligibility and lower copays for families.
