Description
The important role that child care, in particular family child care homes, play in supporting our economy and families was highlighted during the recent pandemic. Lower ratios, a neighborhood location, and perhaps familiarity with providers of this type of care are a tremendous benefit to families and the community at large. However, we should also consider the impact of having a business, particularly family child care, in your home. This session will examine the pros and cons of family child care as well as look at other programs across the country and how they operate.
