We will examine how a teacher’s life experiences, personality, and biases impact the climate, or culture of a classroom. Strictly structured and teacher directed, or child centered with individualized instruction blended with traditional large group lesson planning? These issues will be addressed and their impact on children’s learning. Participants will be given several opportunities to self-evaluate and set goals to improve their classroom management skills.
