Description
This session will define the term “Best Practice” that is used so often in early childhood development, but sometimes not well explained. We will cover the roles of NAEYC and the Council for Professional Recognition in relation to Best Practice. Participants will gain a greater understanding of “intentionality” in teaching, how to use QRIS to foster Best Practice, and the core considerations of Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Participants will learn strategies to address Best Practice in their work with young children and families.
